Details We Love About This House: Retro Geometric | Kedah

Some houses tell their story in the big moments — an open-concept living area, a dramatic feature wall. Others tell it in the small ones. This home in Kedah is the second kind.

We went back through the shoot and pulled out the details that make this project what it is — the parts you might scroll past in a full room shot, but that we think are worth a proper close-up.

Two-tone velvet headboard, styled nightstand, one perfect pop of red from the hardware.

Where three colors meet at one corner — no clutter needed when the palette does the talking.

Small fixture, big personality — these retro-shaped ceiling lights in matte red.

Color-blocked cabinet doors in red, mustard, and white — with circular cutouts that echo the shapes throughout the home.

Details within details: circular cut-outs on the cabinet, topped off with a flip clock that fits the mood perfectly.

Texture over decoration: slatted yellow meets a deep red wall, and that's the whole story.
